One of the first things I did on my anniversary was to run away from my husband. Fortunately, I did come back though and raised nearly £400 for Cancer Research as a result. It was my 5th Race for Life yesterday, running once again with my friend Lindsay and this time we finished in 53 minutes which was a little faster than in previous years, although still quite a leisurely pace. As usual, I ended up pouring what was left in my water bottle over my head at the finish line which felt fabulous given the heat of the day!

Race for Life 2010
One of the first things I did on my anniversary was to run away from my husband. Fortunately, I did come back though and raised nearly £400 for Cancer Research as a result.
