The dress rehearsal wasn’t completely horrendous but was far from perfect all the same. I started by suddenly forgetting my carnival mask for the opening number, having to rush back to the dressing room to get it just in time to step on stage and in my haste put it on upside down which must have looked very bizarre and made it very difficult to see anything. There were a few cases of people forgetting words, which is fairly normal for the dress rehearsal, a couple of forgotten costumes but overall it could have been much worse than it was.

The dress rehearsal wasn’t completely horrendous but was far from perfect all the same.
