It’s been a great weekend: after yesterday’s trip to Butlins, enjoying time spent with my family, today it was time to catch up with friends from university days at my friend Clare’s birthday barbecue. Many of my university friends are now married with children so I had a fun time being clambered over by Hannah & Dave’s little girl Bethany who was being very affectionate plus enjoyed a lovely long cuddle with James & Cait’s 7-week old daughter Elizabeth whom I got to meet for the first time. A fabulous end to the weekend – and it’s back to work tomorrow.

Birthday BBQs
It’s been a great weekend: after yesterday’s trip to Butlins, enjoying time spent with my family, today it was time to catch up with friends from university days at my friend Clare’s birthday barbecue.
