Jessica has been helping me make fairy cakes this
afternoon. I did manage to get her to put
a couple of spoonfuls of the cake mixture into the paper cases before she
decided that eating the cake mixture in her bowl was much more fun. Her taste for cake mixture is definitely not
inherited from her daddy – he’s the only person I know who doesn’t want to
scrape the mixing bowl when making a cake!
It’s been a successful baking day all round – have made a prawn and egg
tart, some mini cheese tarts as well as the fairy cakes.
