Listening to the church of tomorrow

Junior Church was very interesting yesterday. We started off on the theme of friendship, but the discussion ended up evolving into their views on Sunday services and what they want from a service, which is quite different to what we currently do. However, trying to encourage them to think how they could try to introduce some small changes and be more involved only prompted the response “It’ll never work” which is a shame. It’s left me with some food for thought for future Junior Church sessions – trying to discover more about they want, and making sure their voices are heard.
