It’s been a day of sunshine and showers and one of the
nicest things about that kind of weather is that often it brings rainbows. We saw a very pretty double rainbow on our
way home from the supermarket and as there were quite open areas along the
road, it meant we got to see most of the arc.
It seemed much lower in the sky than usual which lead me to search
online to find out why. I’ve learned
that the closer the sun is to the horizon, the higher/bigger the rainbow. Well, you learn something new every day!
