My back garden is a mass of colour at the moment – the daffodils finally appeared and have been joined by bluebells and dandelions. It’s all a bit overgrown at the moment, but flowers provide a great excuse to put off the mowing for a while Not that I have any real intention of mowing the lawn at any point – I’m hoping that Michael will notice the overgrown garden once the flowers have gone and offer to mow it for me!! Inviting friends over for a barbecue often seems to bring on mowing offers so maybe I should plan one soon!

The flowers that bloom in the spring, tra-la
