I sit at the computer, ready to focus on my writing coursework. The window is open next to me; a lovely cool breeze drifts past. I am relaxed, poised and ready to begin and then – the relaxed atmosphere is broken by an irritating buzzing noise. The buzzing noise gets louder as the object of my annoyance circles my head; I go to flick it away, it moves and then returns to annoy me again. I flick it away again – it moves away. This continues for some moments until frustration gets the better of me:
“Michael, put that bloody helicopter away!”
